Annual Mazatlan Billfish Classic
Test your skill in Mazatlan’s most prestigious tournament. With over $350,000 in prize money the Mazatlan Billfish Classic is one of Mexico’s most lucrative tournaments. Annual El Debate Sailfish Tournament
November ( dates to be determined)
A more affordable tournament with heart pounding excitement, this competition provides prizes for the largest tuna, dorado and wahoo in addition to prizes for the largest sailfish, blue, black and striped marlin. Your Safety Is Our Primary Concern
Several charter companies in Mazatlan use the term in their advertising Coast Guard approved In order to carry passengers for hire you must have a life jacket per person, up to date fares, and a liferaft! Only one charter vessel in the entire area meets these basic safety requirements. You guessed it.

It can be either hand deployed by the crew or deploys and inflates itself automatically It is professionally inspected and packed with fresh water, food rations and flares It also has walls and a roof somewhat like a tent that floats to protect it’s occupants from the elements.

Fires that reach the engine compartment where the fuel is stored is a major cause of ship abandonments. Reel’n & Rock’n is equipped with a halon fire suppressor system that is also automatic and professionally inspected and certified.
EPIRB Means “emergency position indicating radio beacon” located next to the helm station. Automatically deploys and sends a emergency signal to a satellite that sends its location to all coast guard and navel ships through out the world. This device is used mostly aboard high end yachts and cruise ships.
